Corporate events during ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) Barcelona: the complete guide
ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) is the world's largest show for professional AV and systems integration. Since 2022 it has been held in Barcelona at Fira Gran Via in early February, drawing more than 70,000 visitors. For manufacturers, integrators and distributors it is the key week of the year, and side events with clients and partners are part of the strategy. We have produced some of ISE's standout events for Microsoft, Logitech and Yealink; this guide sets out what works.
What ISE is and who attends
ISE is organised by AVIXA and CEDIA and brings together manufacturers of AV, videoconferencing, control, lighting and digital signage with integrators, installers and distributors from around the world. Since arriving in Barcelona it has become one of the city's major annual events.
Its audience is professional and technical: they immediately spot a badly calibrated screen or poor sound. At an ISE event, technical production is part of the brand message.
What events to organise during ISE
Brand parties for clients and partners, VIP dinners with key distributors, channel meetings, award ceremonies and more original experiences such as installer competitions. For Logitech we organised, with its official agency, a world championship for videoconferencing installers, and for Microsoft and Logitech a joint party for more than 250 guests at Llotja de Mar.
Concepts with personality work especially well: a 90s party in a brewery, a flamenco night with Spanish food for international clients or a Chic Party with live music and visual effects.
When to start planning
We recommend starting at least 6 months ahead, and earlier for an iconic venue or a large format. February in Barcelona also coincides with other events, so securing the venue early brings peace of mind.
Venues that work during ISE
For prestige events: Llotja de Mar, MNAC or the Maritime Museum. For parties with character: former factories such as Fàbrica Moritz or secret venues such as Esklandestino next to the Fira. For large themed formats: Poble Espanyol.
We choose the venue based on guest numbers, the concept and transfer time from Fira Gran Via.
Technical production: the detail that makes the difference
At ISE, guests are AV experts. LED screens, projection mapping, sound and lighting must be up to standard. We work with trusted technical suppliers and run full tests before doors open.
Logistics and transfers
We coordinate shuttles from Fira Gran Via and from hotels, guest management with RSVPs and multilingual welcome staff. ISE's audience is highly international, so practical information must arrive in English and in good time.
